Salamanca is promoted as a filming stage at the audiovisual location fair Shooting Locations Marketplace

Salamanca Film Commission participates on October 15 and 16 in the fourth fair of audiovisual locations to be held in Valladolid. Shooting Locations Marketplace is a great opportunity for the city's audiovisual sector, as it will make it possible to establish contact with numerous film locators. The event is aimed at professionals in the audiovisual industry and destinations that are postulated as locations for filming productions, television, advertising, music or video games. This edition involves about 50 localizers and more than 30 national and international destinations. The philosophy of Shooting Locations Marketplace is to offer agents involved in the development of audiovisual projects a commercial and business platform, a workplace that contributes to the promotion of Spain as a shooting destination and the strengthening of this industry that is experiencing a time of growth and expansion. Thanks to this Fair, the first contact was established between Salamanca Film Commission and Palma Pictures, a production company in Spain that took the filming of the Indian film that was made in the city. This contracting market has an international vocation and already in this fourth edition it has the participation of representatives of at least ten countries. The United Kingdom, Portugal and Belgium will be present through their respective Film Commissions and most of the registered locators come from the United States, Great Britain, Romania, Germany, Canada, Italy and Malta, with the Anglo-Saxon world being the most numerous. The fair will be attended by professionals with extensive experience, who work for major studio productions and platforms such as Marvel, HBO, Palma Pictures, Netflix, Mediapro, Globomedia, Baelsberg, Franco Films, 22Locations and Globomedia, among others. In the career of these professionals there are great titles of films and television series such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Mission Impossible, Game of Thrones, The Paper House, The Myth of Bourne, Argo, Gran Hotel Budapest, Black Mirror, Wonder Woman 84 or New Amsterdam. The Shooting Locations Marketplace program will be completed with talks, forums and round tables of the best national and international professionals, in addition to creating numerous spaces and events in which attendees can meet and exchange ideas and points of view. Shooting Locations Marketplace has become an indispensable event for any national and international film commission, as well as being one of the most important international fairs in the sector.
