The bullfighting dress does not make a bullfighter, but there is truly no bullfighter, nor party as the canons command, with a traditional typism, without a suit of lights.

And it is a fundamental element, completed with the rest of the bullfighting instruments, of the ceremony of the bullfight, since the bullfighter dresses in the hotel or at home, and after the stroll, during the entire fight.

In addition to the costume of lights, there are other varieties used by bullfighters on other occasions. Such is the case of the so-called goyesco suit, simpler and with less decorative load, inspired by those who wore in the time of Goya. It is simply used on rare occasions such as goyesque runs, mainly highlighting the one held every year in Ronda.

It is particularly beautiful the short suit or country suit, inspired by the work of the field and used for groping and festivals.

Highlights include the picador suits of Juan María and Aurelio García, large Salamancan varilargueros as well as the silver embroidery of the flag bearer Jose Luís Barrero.
