Michael Portillo Films in Salamanca

The popular BBC presenter arrives tomorrow in the city for the Great Continental Railway Journeys programme. The city's cathedrals, the Historic Building of the University, gastronomy, and hotel facilities will complete a magnificent script.

The programme is a long-running travel series, in which former British minister Michael Portillo travels by train across Europe, exploring the history and culture of the places he visits.
Salamanca will possibly be the first episode of the new season of this successful series.
