Follow the Footprints

Visits to the House of Saint Teresa, dramatized tours, and guided tours of the city are Salamanca's proposals for the 'Follow the Footprints' program. Salamanca joins this cultural program for another year, within the framework of the Huellas de Teresa (Footprints of Teresa) network, which brings the Teresian legacy to the public from an open and contemporary perspective, highlighting the places where the Saint left her mark.
• The House of Saint Teresa will open its doors on Friday, October 17 (from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM) and Sunday, October 19 (from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM and from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM).

• On Saturday, October 18, dramatized tours will take place at different times, and guided tours of the city will be offered at 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM; invitations for both can be booked through the website www.salamancaymas.es.

Salamanca joins the cultural program 'Follow the Footprints' for another year, with proposals for the month of October within the framework of the Huellas de Teresa network. The Network of Teresian Cities of Spain once again turns the month of October into an event with culture and heritage with a new edition of this program that promotes cultural activities around the figure of Saint Teresa of Jesus in the cities that make up the Network.

In Salamanca, the House of Saint Teresa will open its doors on Friday, October 17 (from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM) and Sunday, October 19 (from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM and from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM). In addition, on Saturday, October 18, dramatized tours will be held at different times (11:30 AM, 12:00 PM, 12:30 PM, 1:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM), departing from C/Condes Crespo Rascón 25.

Also on Saturday, you can enjoy guided tours of the city at 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM, departing from the Tourist Information Office in the Plaza Mayor. Invitations for the dramatized and guided tours of the city can be booked from tomorrow on the website www.salamancaymas.es.

Coordinated by Huellas de Teresa with the collaboration of the city councils, the program seeks to bring the Teresian legacy closer to the public from an open and contemporary perspective, through music, theater, poetry, heritage routes and guided tours that highlight the places where the Saint left her mark.

"Live the Footprints is an invitation to rediscover Teresa from emotion and culture," explained Carlos López, coordinator of the Huellas de Teresa Network. "Every year the cities are once again enthusiastically involved in this proposal, demonstrating that the message of Saint Teresa continues to inspire creation, encounter and beauty," he adds.
