In this regard, the execution of the Project for the Protection Works of the Remains of the Layout of the Old Convent of San Vicente, promoted by the Honourable City Council of Salamanca, has entailed the construction of a museographic space over the cloister area of the old Convent of San Vicente in Salamanca, the demolition of the Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Residential College, and the excavation of a 400 m2 area located in the central core of the primitive protohistoric settlement for its enhancement and public exhibition, thereby laying the groundwork for an interpretation center at the original settlement of the city of Salamanca.
