HAIRDRESSERS. VIII Photography Contest of the Museum of Commerce
This eighth competition has been attended by 52 photographers and a total of 168 works. They feature hair salons from Salamanca, Ciudad Rodrigo, Carbajosa de la Sagrada, or Béjar. And, regarding the extra-provincial participants, photographs have arrived from several Spanish regions such as Asturias, La Rioja, Catalonia, or Andalusia, and from countries like Italy or Thailand.
First prize, endowed with 1,000 €: “Choni at the Hairdresser I” by Miguel Ángel Montejo Blanco.
Second prize, endowed with 500 €: “Alberto” by Andrés Manuel Ñíguez Carbonell.
Third prize, endowed with 250 €: “Beard Shaver I” by José Manuel García de Porras.
The special prize, endowed with 250 €, has been awarded to “Untitled”, by Luís María Barrio Sáenz, which captures a hairdressing scene in India.
