FILM ROUTES THROUGH CASTILLA Y LEÓN

Getting closer to the cities, towns, and natural environments of Castilla y León that have served as filming locations for movies and series is possible through this exhibition.

In 2025, Castilla y León Film Commission conceived five cinematic routes that on this occasion have been expanded to seven; Western Territory, Orson Welles, Carlos Saura, Cinema and Art Miguel Delibes and Series.

Due to the vastness of the territory and its historical and scenic grandeur, our Autonomous Community has been considered by cinema and television as a great filming set.

With this exhibition, we hope to awaken public interest in film-themed tourism where the visitor and the territory mutually benefit.

We highlight the image for the exhibition created by the Madrid artist Luis Pérez Calvo. His singular style, an amalgamation of comic, film imagery, advertisements, and a very personal topographic vision, reflects the idiosyncrasies of each location in a fun and meticulous way.

Tourism in Castilla y León is an asset that now has an additional attraction, a cinematic one.
