TINPLATE JUG FOR THE 1907 REGIONAL EXHIBITION

Made by Ricardo Álvarez Vivas in 1907. Dimensions 45 x 30 x 30cm. Donated by Doña Francisca and María del Carmen Álvarez Rodríguez. Displayed in the museum's grocery section.

This tin pitcher with a lid and inscription was made by the tinsmith Ricardo Álvarez, who had an open workshop at 44 San Pablo Street. It was presented at the Salamanca Regional Exhibition of 1907, winning the Bronze Medal. Salamanca organized a large agricultural, livestock, and industrial fair in 1907. The agricultural and livestock-related sections were located in La Alamedilla, while the industrial part was inside the Central Food Market. светаThe family has kindly donated the pitcher, the diploma, and the bronze medal obtained in 1907 to the Museum of Commerce.
