MOLINILLO ELMA No6. MEANING OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY.

MOLINILLO ELMA No6 Grinder ELMA Mod. 6. Cast steel and wood. Measures 65x45x35cm. Manufactured by the company Alavesa Elma S.A. Collection of the Museum of Commerce and Industry of Salamanca. Located in the abacería of the museum. Donation of the Vicente Sánchez Villares family. The grinder recently restored (elimination of oxide layer, fatty powder, etc.) by the restaurateur Isabel Pantaleón Rodríguez, has been in perfect condition without losing at the same time, an iota of the flavor that gives the passage of time. The Alava company Elma was founded in 1924 and is still active a hundred years later. Most of the products were sold in bulk in former grocery stores or grocery stores; Oil, legumes, coffee, etc. This model served to grind large quantities of coffee manually and serve them to customers. We appreciate the generosity of the family for donating this great piece to which the restoration has given the balance and the look it deserves.
